We welcome applications from students who have completed or are in the process of taking the conversion course following a law degree as well as those who have studied law, with a strong academic background and at least a 2:1 honours degree.
We operate an Equal Opportunities policy. In considering applications we take account of academic achievements and the standard of degree likely to be obtained but also a genuine desire for a career in the profession and an interest in working and living locally. We place great importance on good interpersonal skills in the context of both the workplace and client care. We are looking for trainees who combine intellectual ability with practical common sense.
What do our current and past trainees say about Glanvilles training contracts?
Catherine Ismail - Trainee, Chichester & Fareham
“I felt extremely welcomed from day one. There is a warm atmosphere at Glanvilles and you are never short of any help or advice from even the busiest of staff members. Time will always be made for you and your training.”
Emily Wentworth - Trainee, Havant
“From the very first week of my training contract I was sitting in on client meetings. Since then I have been given more responsibility in those meetings which has allowed me to build my confidence with client contact in a variety of circumstances. I will be able to build on this experience throughout the rest of my training contract.”
