(1) Family and Employment Immigration Solicitor, Part Time Office Based
We are excited to open a newly created role for an Immigration Lawyer to join our Litigation Department, based at our beautiful grade two listed Petworth office, Wisteria House.
The successful candidate should ideally have 1 - 3 years PQE with previous exposure to all aspects of private (non legal aid) immigration including first tier tribunal appeals. The successful candidate will be servicing clients on Immigration matters such as but not limited to family visas, under the immigration rules, entry clearance and British Citizenship as well as Sponsorship Licenses, and points based system visas. You will also be representing clients Immigration Tribunals and advising for Appeals against Home Office Visa Refusals.
Candidates should be proficient in managing their own caseloads in line with billing targets, maintaining their diaries, and meeting court dates and key deadlines. They must demonstrate excellent communication skills with clients and third parties, work independently on their files whilst contributing as a proactive team member within the wider Litigation departments. The role also provides opportunities for business development, marketing, and networking to further support the growth of the firm’s Immigration services.
This is a Part Time role (21 hours per week, 3 day week) flexible. Office based.
