Law Society Accreditations

Our team have achieved Law Society accreditation for our specialist expertise in the following areas.

Conveyancing Quality Scheme

Accreditation by the Conveyancing Quality Scheme recognises that our residential property team offer safe, reliable conveyancing services that meets the standards set by the Law Society.

Family Law Advanced

This accreditation reflects our high level of expertise in all areas of family law, including specialist issues such as cohabitation, complex finances, international family law and domestic abuse.

Lexcel

Lexcel Accreditation is awarded for practice management and client care, so achieving this standard acts as a mark of confidence in the general quality of the service we offer to our clients.

Wills & Inheritance Quality Scheme

We achieved this accreditation for the high standard of our legal practice in the area of wills and estate administration.

Consultant James Melrose and Partners Marie Callaway and Sonia Green are all members of the Law Society’s Probate Section.

Resolution

Janet Paxton, Fellow Legal Executive, and Senior Associate Charlotte Woodhouse are members of Resolution, a network of family lawyers committed to removing the conflict from family legal matters. Charlotte is also a qualified collaborative lawyer.

Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP)

Sonia Green, Partner, is a member of STEP, a global network of legal experts of family inheritance and succession planning.

Portsmouth Property Association (PPA)

The Portsmouth Property Association (PPA) aims to create a positive image of Portsmouth and the surrounding area and encourage inward investment. Licensed Conveyancer and Senior Associate Lorna Newnham is a committee member while Mark Watson, Partner and Head of Residential Property Team, Cheryl Utting, Associate, and Gareth Maddern, Associate Legal Executive, are also PPA members.

Association of Leasehold Enfranchisement Practitioners (ALEP)

ALEP is a professional membership association of organisations experienced in the residential leasehold sector.
