Gareth Maddern

Partner

Gareth is a Partner based within our Commercial Property team in Chichester, as well as servicing the Fareham community by appointment only. During his time with the Firm, Gareth has worked for a wide range of clients and property related matters and specialises in more bespoke matters such as unregistered land, missing title deeds, correction of title documents and plans and always enjoys a new challenge.  

Gareth completed his LLB Law (Hons) at University of Portsmouth and worked as a Legal Executive for a large litigation firm dealing with RTA’s before moving to Glanvilles in 2013 to join the Residential Property team. Gareth moved across to the commercial property team shortly thereafter and then completed a Masters in Law, Business and Management in October 2021, qualifying as a Solicitor in July 2022 and promoted to Associate in January 2023 then to Partnership Associate in October 2023 and to Partner in April 2024.

Gareth states that his favourite part of the role is working closely with his clients to understand their needs on each project, to provide ideas and advice on how these can be achieved with a pragmatic and logical approach.

Gareth's spare time is spent training for 'Race to the King', a charitable sporting event held in June across Chichester and South Downs.
