Glanvilles have signed the Armed Forces Covenant

At Glanvilles we understand the challenges faced by Armed Forces Personnel and their families. As a result, on 21st January 2020 Glanvilles signed the Armed Forces Covenant Pledge committing to honour the Armed Forces Covenant and support the Armed Forces Community.

What is the Armed Forces Covenants?

The Armed Forces Covenant is an agreement between the armed forces community, the nation and the government. It encapsulates the moral obligation to those who serve, have served, their families and the bereaved.

The covenant’s underlying principles are that members of the armed forces community should face no disadvantage compared to other citizens in the provision of public and commercial services; and that special consideration is appropriate in some cases, especially for those who have given the most such as the injured or the bereaved.

What is Glanvilles LLP doing and how can this help?

Glanvilles have signed the Armed Forces Covenant pledge to demonstrate that together we acknowledge and understand that those who serve or who have served in the armed forces, and their families, should be treated with fairness and respect in the communities, economy and society they serve with their lives.

In our Conveyancing, Private Client and Matrimonial departments, we can offer a 10% military discount. In our Conveyancing department we specialise in Forces Help to Buy. Our goal is to assist and understand where possible the challenging roles, environment and commitment our armed forces and their families can face.

We are aware that circumstances can change at short notice through deployment, postings and exercises which can cause communication challenges and difficulties.

We aim to work together with forces personnel to assist in overcoming the challenges that can arise.

We are able to offer forces personnel services via email and telephone to assist with long distant hurdles and short notice commitments.

We are flexible and in addition to being specialists in Forces Help to Buy, we can also offer out of hours appointments in our Conveyancing department.

As a firm with many colleagues connected to the armed forces community, we wanted to demonstrate our support and very excited to be signing the Armed Forces Covenant and pledge to support members of the Navy, Army and Air Force.
