Ella Humphreys
Ella joined the Private Client Department in the Chichester (South Street) office as a Senior Associate in September 2025. She advises on all aspects of private client work, including complex estate planning, the creation and management of trusts, and the administration of high-value estates. Clients appreciate her clear, pragmatic guidance and her ability to navigate intricate legal and tax considerations with discretion and care.
Ella read Law at the University of Leeds before qualifying as a solicitor in 2010. In 2013, Ella chose to focus on private client work and has since built a strong reputation advising individuals and families on wills, trusts and estate planning. She enjoys getting to know her clients and takes the time to understand their personal circumstances, family dynamics and long-term wishes, ensuring her advice is always tailored, practical and forward-thinking.
Ella is a full member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) and accredited under the Law Society’s Wills and Inheritance Quality Scheme (WIQS), recognising her specialist expertise in this field, and she also holds the Diploma in Advising Vulnerable Clients. This enables her to provide particularly thoughtful and compassionate support when clients are facing complex or emotionally challenging situations.
