Promotion for Property Lawyer

Glanvilles is pleased to announce that Mark Watson has been made an Associate.

Mark, a qualified lawyer, is head of the firms Property Services team in Fareham and has vast experience of the local property market and clients property requirements having been in the profession for many years.

He said “This is an exciting time for the firm and I am looking forward to being able to expand the department and help the public with buying and selling, and allied property requirements.”

Mark joined Glanvilles in January 2011 having previously been an Associate and a Manager of a Residential Property Team with a local top legal 500 firm. He became an Associate on 1 May 2013.

He qualified in 1986 and began his career in civil and criminal litigation and subsequently specialised in Land Law & Conveyancing. Mark specialises in all aspects of Property work to include buying and selling, new build development purchases, remortgages, leasehold matters, buy-to-let investment work and maintains his interest in the subject of Land Law and lectures extensively outside the office to local business on land law and conveyancing practice, and has recently been on local radio presenting on the subject.

Mark is a member of the Portsmouth Property Association and actively involved with the Institute of Legal Executives and is currently education officer for the Portsmouth & District Branch of ILEX, having previously been Chairman.
