Employment legal services for employers and employees

It is not only a testing time for our government and healthcare systems, but also an extremely challenging time for all businesses.   Despite the furlough scheme, government backed loans, wage reductions, and deferral of many overheads, we are still in the midst of a period where many businesses are struggling.
 
We want you to know that at Glanvilles LLP, we are here for you whether new or existing client.  Our employment team is still working to deal with the increase in advice and assistance arising from the COVID-19 outbreak, and its impact on businesses. We understand that in order to move forward following COVID-19, you may have to make some difficult decisions over the coming weeks and months.  We are equipped to provide you with bespoke advice and assistance in these unprecedented times. 
 
To combat the outbreak, and in accordance with the Government Lockdown Rules, we have adopted the following procedures:
 
  • All of our offices are operating but without any face-to-face appointments, with skeleton members of staff in each office daily, adhering to Social Distancing rules;

  • Post is scanned and sent out to our lawyers who are working remotely so it can be dealt with as quickly as possible;

  • All meetings with clients are now conducted over the phone or via video call;

  • We are working with clients to offer the most appropriate and helpful way of funding matters, including offering some of our employment and dispute resolution services on a discretionary fixed fee basis where possible to ease any financial pressure;

  • We are keeping ourselves updated daily on the ever changing social and business environment in order to help our clients get up to date advice; and

  • We are offering advice on, amongst other things; furloughing, redundancies, the impact of COVID-19 on existing contracts and any other issue which may have arisen as a result of the pandemic.
