Coronavirus - putting our staff and clients first

At Glanvilles, we understand and sympathise that many of our clients, contacts and staff are feeling anxious with the continuous threat Coronavirus brings, and how this might impact on our work moving forward. We hope that by setting out the below procedures that this will show what ways we are taking necessary steps to minimise any disruption.

The first priority is for the well-being and health of our employees and clients, and of course to ensure measures are put in place to progress your matters without delay.

Coronavirus COVID-19 Procedures

These are the steps we have put in place to date as of 23rd March 2020;

  1. In response to the Governments advice in relation to social distancing, we are asking all clients to avoid unnecessary visits to our offices. Regretfully, you will not be admitted to our offices without prior appointment.

  2. We have cut down the need to travel to outside client appointments;

  3. All our lawyers are able to securely log on to our IT systems and telephony from home. In the event of having to self-isolate, your lawyer will be able to continue working on your matter. We also have protocols in place for your matter to be passed to another lawyer in the event your lawyer actually becomes ill and is unable to work.

  4. Hand sanitizers are in each of our offices in receptions and kitchen facilities;

  5. Posters in reception areas and back office to remind everyone present of good hygiene practices, hand washing techniques and what to do if they suspect themselves of having the virus;

  6. We have three offices located in Chichester, Fareham and Havant. If one of our offices is affected and requires to be closed for deep clean then we are able to continue with administration and accounting from other locations.

We will continue to review our procedures and will follow the latest Government and Public Health England guidance.

If you have any questions regarding the above, please contact the lawyer handling your case.
